Join the Guilford Energy Committee for an inspiring presentation by Guilford resident and micro-hydropower pioneer Roman Nemet, who is working to harness the energy of Vermont's streams and brooks through innovative, small-scale hydro systems. Drawing on his local projects and years of experience, Roman will explain how micro hydro works, where it can be used, and its potential to provide reliable, renewable energy without the need for large dams.
The presentation will take place from 7:00–9:00 PM in the upstairs hall at the Broad Brook Community Center. If you'd like to make an evening of it, the First Monday Community Potluck will be happening downstairs from 6:00–8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to enjoy dinner with neighbors before heading upstairs for the talk.
