Community Days
We reserve one day of every month for the building to be used RENT FREE for community events.
If you are a Guilford resident, or organization, and have an idea an event you would like to organize, reach out to us.
To use a rent free community day, you must be a Guilford resident or organization, and the event or gathering must be open to everyone and free to attend.
Have any idea? Reach out to us! We will help you spread the word about it, and if you need some help getting started we can do that too. Regular building rules apply (cleaning up after the event, no smoking, animals, fires etc.) but otherwise the only rule is that it must be accessible to everyone and free for all.
So…what event would you like to see happen in town? Let’s make sure it does!
Our May Community Day is a Workshop on Biodynamic Farming
MAY 10TH 6PM - 8PM
This workshop will be a quick review of how to approach biodynamics presented by local resident Elisha Poulin. The workshop will cover the very valuable ways that we all can contribute to the health of our earth and ourselves. There are many ways to work with biodynamics. It can be quick and easy or it can be very deep and methodical.
This is not only for farmers and gardeners, it can be for anybody who wants to share in this beautiful practice of healing, for any piece of the earth small or large. We hope to see you there!
What is Biodynamic Farming?
Biodynamic farming nurtures plants in vibrant living soil, fostering unparalleled health and nutritional benefits that surpass those achieved with conventional methods such as chemical fertilizers or hydroponics.
