Guilford’s Beaver Past on Wednesday, February 25  7:00 - 8:30 pm. River scientist Denise Burchsted has studied the way beaver dams and log jams shape rivers and streams, and helps us imagine and how different our rivers would have been pre-European colonization. Dr Burchsted has mapped the formerly beaver-filled parts of Guilford.
