The Broad Brook Grange
The Broad Brook Grange is a welcoming community organization that encourage people to take part in the activities they host, and to join their efforts in creating a closer, more connected, community.
From holding an annual pre-town meeting to inform residents about our local government, to maintaining a scholarship fund to encourage local students to pursue higher education, to providing dictionaries to local third graders and hosting a free community Thanksgiving dinner, the Grange values fostering a sense of community, belonging, and support. To this end, Grange members work together to put on their sugar-on-snow supper to fund community service work, and organize outreach such as their December holiday stockings which are brought to local seniors and others to provide cheer. The Broad Brook Grange also encompasses the Guilford Center Stage theater group, which puts on plays and events in the building.
As the original stewards of the Broad Brook Community Center building the Grange is incredibly happy to see it being used to the fullest. And as a community organization they are always interested in welcoming new members and hearing new ideas.
